Capabilities

There are two LMCF workstations in Nanaline Duke. We call the workstation on the left in 337, NanDuke 1 to distinguish from a newer "NanDuke 2" system. The computer name is LMCF-NDWS2 includes a POGO Velocity bought in March 2016 running Microsoft Windows 10 64-bit with a Dual Xeon E5-2640v3 2.6 GHz, 128 GB RAM,  an AMD Radeon R9 290 4GB graphics card, a 240 GB SSD OS drive and 10 TB hardware RAID data drive. You may temporarily store a copy of your data (you should have at least one backup elsewhere) on the local hard drive while you are performing your processing and analysis. As soon as you are finished, please remove your data to make space for others.
