Imaging modes:

  • DIC and brightfield transmitted light imaging
  • Fluorescence - CFP, GFP, YFP, Red

Sample formats:

  • Up to eight 35 mm glass bottom dishes ( P35G-1.5-14-C )
  • If your cells won't grow on glass these dishes have the thickness and optics of a coverslip but are made from plastic.

Objectives:

  • 20x/0.75 DIC Olympus UPlanSAPO 0.65 mm WD
  • 0.5x and 2.0x auxilary magnification available to produce 10x and 40x magnification/fov
  • (40x/0.95 DIC UPlanSApo, WD: 0.18mm objective is available, ask Sam or Gao)
  • Pixel sizes: 20x=0.32micron, 10x=0.64micron, 40x=0.16 micron

Computer:

  • High performance workstation (Windows XP 32bit Xeon W5580)
  • MetaMorph premier acquisition (System ID 33991)
